Lynx Base — Website Bridge
Brings Lynx brand colours onto the public website without a flash of unstyled content (FOUC) on first paint.
When website is installed alongside lynx_base, Lynx's branded primary and secondary colours need to reach the public site without waiting for the asset bundle to download. This bridge inherits the website.layout template and injects a critical-CSS <style> block into <head> with the colour tokens read from lynx.configuration. First paint already shows the brand; the deferred bundle then handles the rest.
Key Features
Critical CSS injection — lynx_critical_colors and lynx_critical_colors_website templates write the brand --lynx-* tokens into <head> so the first paint is on-brand.
No FOUC — colours land before the deferred website asset bundle evaluates, eliminating the white-on-white flash visitors see when brand styles arrive late.
Reads live config — pulls primary/secondary colours from lynx.configuration so admin updates propagate to the next page render with no rebuild step.
Auto-Installation
Installs automatically when both lynx_base and website are present. Removing either un-installs this bridge automatically.
