Lynx Compliance - Survey Templates

Layers compliance metadata and seed templates onto the standard Odoo CE survey module. No new questionnaire engine - the entire authoring, scoring, public-link sharing, and certification flow is the one already shipped in Odoo CE; we add the four pieces compliance teams need.

Key Features

  • Compliance use case - new compliance_use_case Selection on survey.survey (vendor assessment / employee attestation / awareness quiz / breach post-mortem / supplier diligence) so the survey list filters cleanly.

  • Framework linkage - framework_id Many2one to compliance.framework so a CAIQ v4 questionnaire ties back to the right control catalog.

  • Vendor linkage on responses - vendor_id Many2one on survey.user_input lets a public response be associated with the vendor it answers for.

  • Red-flag finding auto-raise - questions tagged compliance_red_flag raise a compliance.finding of severity high when answered "no" / "n/a" / scored below a threshold.

  • Seed templates - on install, post_init_hook upserts four starter survey.survey records: CAIQ v4 starter (15 high-value questions across 5 domains), SIG Lite (15 questions), NIST CSF 2.0 self-assessment (24 questions - one per function family), Awareness Quiz (10 questions). Officers extend or replace as needed.

  • Public access tokens reused - native Odoo access_token keeps vendor-facing share links working; no parallel auth.
