Lynx HR Premium

Small, CE-friendly HR helpers gated behind the Lynx Premium license. Where lynx_hr_enterprise requires Odoo Enterprise modules (hr_contract, payroll, attendance), this module deliberately stays inside the Odoo Community subset so any Lynx Premium tenant — including those running pure Odoo CE — can install it.

Today the module ships the SR&ED hourly-cost helper used by Canadian research-claim workflows; future Lynx-premium HR additions that don't need Enterprise-only base modules belong here.

Key Features

  • SR&ED hourly-cost wizard — compute employee hourly_cost from annualized salary using the SR&ED / RS&DE convention (annual salary / 2080h). Accepts monthly or yearly input, applies the result to one or many selected employees in a single action.

  • Employee-form launcher — a one-click "Compute" button next to the Hourly Cost field on the employee form opens the wizard pre-filled with that employee.

  • Premium-gated, CE-compatible — depends only on hr and hr_hourly_cost (both shipped with Odoo Community), keeping the module installable on tenants that don't have Odoo Enterprise.

License Gating

The module declares lynx_license_enforcer as a dependency, inheriting the standard Lynx Premium license check on install. Tenants without an active Premium license can't install the module.
