The OCR engine, document model, parsers, learning system, federated hub client, and review wizard - business-application-agnostic so any team can layer it under their own flow.

Reading invoices and receipts is a horizontal capability; pinning it to one Odoo module locks adoption. This core ships the engine and document store with no purchase, accounting, or HR dependency. Bridge modules (lynx_purchase_ocr, lynx_account_ocr, lynx_expense_ocr, lynx_hr_ocr) auto-install on top to wire OCR into specific business flows.
