Stock Odoo Maintenance is enough to track "what broke and who fixed it" — but falls short of what auditors and ITIL frameworks expect: a numbered Request For Change, a Change Advisory Board sign-off, an approved rollback plan, and proactive customer notifications. This module extends maintenance.request into a full RFC pipeline with CAB voting, freeze-period enforcement, and a T-minus notification engine that emails affected partners on a schedule. Reusable templates pre-fill the boring parts so submitting a routine "reboot the load balancer" change takes seconds, not minutes.

RFC pipeline — every change gets an rfc_number, a Standard / Normal / Emergency type, and risk/impact scoring; submit → approve → implement → review with state guards on each transition.
CAB approval workflow — lynx.change.approval records each approver's vote and decision time; multi-vote support without leaving Odoo.
Freeze periods — lynx.change.freeze.period blocks (or warns) changes during release moratoria, scoped by equipment, service, partner, or change type, with a hard/soft/advisory severity slider.
Customer notification engine — a cron walks approved and in-flight RFCs and emails affected partners at T-7, T-1, start, and completion using configurable mail templates.
Reusable change templates — lynx.change.template pre-fills category, type, risk, lead time, and rollback plan so routine work becomes one-click.
Service-aware CMDB — lynx.cmdb.service tracks the services and inter-service dependencies your changes affect, so the impact column on the RFC form is accurate the first time.
Implementation, rollback, and test plans — three rich-HTML fields on the RFC; required before approval, archived after completion.
Customer portal — partners see only the changes that affect them at /my/changes, with the same agenda + minutes pattern as Lynx Meetings.
