Send a contract for signature, watch it come back signed, and keep the audit trail to prove it — without leaving Odoo and without per-document fees from a third party.

Lynx Sign turns the upload-print-scan-pray cycle into a link. Authors drop 13 kinds of fields (signature, initial, text, date, checkbox, dropdown, auto-fill name/email/company) on any PDF or DOCX in a visual builder; the system emails the right field set to each signer in the right order, fires reminders if they go quiet, and seals the result with a tamper-evident certificate of completion. Every action — viewed, filled, signed, declined, authentication attempt — lands in sign.audit with IP, user agent, and geolocation, so compliance teams stop asking "who signed what when".

  • PDF + DOCX support — sign.document accepts uploads in either format; an in-tab rich-text editor lets authors create from scratch.

  • Tamper-evident audit trail - every completed document carries a certificate of completion recording SHA-256 hashes of the original and signed PDFs, backed by a hash-chained event log that makes later alteration detectable.

  • Full audit trail — sign.audit captures 21 distinct event types (request created, viewed, field filled, declined, host-assisted access, authentication failed, etc.) with IP, user agent, and geolocation.

  • Reusable templates — turn an offer letter or NDA into a one-click send; templates support per-instance approval gates (manager review, legal review) configurable in res.config.settings.

  • Customer + portal signing — authenticated signers go through the portal; external signers use a secure access token with expiration.

  • Partner integration — res.partner exposes signature counts and pending-sign counts as smart-button stats so a contact's signing history is one click away.
